Watching the Prime Minister last night trying to explain away the fiasco of section 34 was particularly painful for former PP supporters. She looked and sounded genuine and compassionate. She obviously wants to make things right the second time around, once again.
I'm convinced she is a good person but not a good leader, who would instinctively surround themselves with capable, morally infused individuals. There are simply too many sycophantic poseurs in leadership positions in the PP whose main concern is the consolidation of power, position, prestige and all that flows from it. When you replace substance with flair, morality with utility and truth with expediency you get what you get.
