Hav­ing met all re­quire­ments as set by the tech­ni­cal com­mit­tee of the Trinidad and To­ba­go Karate Fed­er­a­tion (TTKF-TC), T'ony Bliss has been pro­mot­ed to the rank of Shodan (1st De­gree Black Belt).His grade will be ho­molo­gat­ed by the World Union of Karate-Do Or­ga­ni­za­tion (WUKO) and record­ed in TTKF Na­tion­al Black Belt Reg­is­trar. This in­for­ma­tion will al­so be com­mu­ni­cat­ed to the Min­istry of Sport and Youth Af­fairs (MSYA) as a form of com­pli­ance. All Black Belt ranks from TTKF are rec­og­nized by WUKO, MSYA and the in­ter­na­tion­al karate com­mu­ni­ty.

Bliss is an in­ter­nal mar­tial arts prac­ti­tion­er who has been prac­tic­ing karate for more than ten years start­ing with kyokushin and cur­rent­ly Shotokan. His present in­struc­tors are Sen­sei An­tho­ny Par­ris and Sen­sei Rae John­son.He is a TTKF of­fi­cial (WUKO rules) who is cur­rent­ly pur­su­ing his coach­ing prin­ci­ples cer­ti­fi­ca­tion un­der the Amer­i­can Sport Ed­u­ca­tion Pro­gram (ASEP).He will be par­tic­i­pat­ing in WUKO In­ter­na­tion­al ref­er­ee course in June in T&T.
