There are what I believe concocted conceptions about farming and the retail food industry. I wish the media would do detailed documentaries revealing the true lives of T&T's farmers. Show how they live, the state of their homes, introduce through film farmers' families. Show the steps farmers use to bring crops to bear.
Tell in film how farmers reap their produce, how they wholesale to buyers, how they transport the products of their labour to market. Show all steps for management of agriculture land.
Tell about praedial larceny. Tell about crop disease. Tell about IDB loans. Tell about use of chemicals. Show the documentary as a progressive series. Post it on the Internet. Show us on what T&T's $4 billion food import bill is spent. Show what applies for successful cultivation of crops, animal husbandry and marine food production. Clear up false beliefs and socially conditioned presumptions. Lay the facts clearly.
Simultaneously, make clear the facts that govern the processed food industry, grocery food chains, restaurants and other food-related businesses that rely on farming produce but are not engaged in farming.
