Exceptional care by south hospital team

by

I extend my heartfelt thanks to a special team of healthcare professionals attached to the San Fernando General Hospital, who provided excellent treatment for my husband Michael. In particular, I commend the doctors: Dilip Dan, Nigel Bascombe, Rakesh Rambally, Nyquist Mootiram, Kirby Panchoo. Also the nurses, the medical students and the assistants who provided outstanding support to the team of professionals.

My family and our friends were highly impressed with the professionalism, care and attention displayed by this group of medical personnel. Special mention goes to the staff of Ward 7 of the new wing of the hospital which was at all times immaculately kept and which facilitated the delivery of the exceptional and special care in spite of the institutional challenges which they face on a daily basis.

I am in no doubt that the standard of treatment is comparable with that provided by First World medical institutions. Finally, I am indeed grateful to the officials of the Ministry of Health for putting in place the multifaceted initiatives which have enabled this facility to provide such a high standard of medical care during times of need. May God richly bless you all.

Brenda Carmino and family
