Police found the badly decomposed body of Cunupia resident Hollis Trimm yesterday when they were forced to break down the door to his home. Foul play has not been ruled out in his death.According to the police, officer went to the Trimm's Homeland Gardens, Cunupia home at around 1.45 pm following a report from one of his neighbours. The neighbour said he last saw Trimm at 9 pm on December 9 and he was not responding to phone calls or answering calls outside his home.
When police went to Trimm's home the front door was locked and a foul stench was detected. Officers broke down the door and found Trimm was lying on his bed.His body was in such an advanced state of decomposition that police could not detect any visible marks of violence.The body was sent to the Forensic Sciences Center for a post mortem. Cunupia police are continuing inquiries.
