Ronald Ramcharan is the new chairman of the National Insurance Property Development Company Limited's (Nipdec) board of directors.The board, which was appointed on March 14 by the National Insurance Board (NIB), comprises Hamlyn Jailal, deputy chairman, Melissa Bart-Smith, Krishmanie Misir, Navindra Ramnanan, Ravi Ramoutar and Dwight Stoute.
Nipdec is fully owned by NIB.
It's general manager, Wendy Ali, welcomed the new board which will join existing board member Lorna Charles who is executive director of NIB.Incorporated as a private limited liability company in July, 1977, Nipdec serves both the public and private sectors.
