The offence was laid by PC Ralph Ramroop, contrary to Section 28 (a) of the Larceny Act, Chapter 11:12.
The accused had initially appeared before a Port-of-Spain magistrate last Friday, but were denied bail. Yesterday, their attorney Nicole Basraj was present to make a fresh application for bail, only to learn that they had not been taken to court. Magistrate Anna Ryan, sitting in the Eleventh Court, adjourned the matter to April 5, in absence of the accused.
