The Chow­tal Sam­me­lan 2026 was held at the SDMS Head­quar­ters at Lak­sh­mi Girls’ Hin­du Col­lege in St Au­gus­tine on Feb­ru­ary 28. One of the lega­cies of the late Sanatan Dhar­ma Ma­ha Sab­ha sec­re­tary gen­er­al, Sat Ma­haraj, was the rein­tro­duc­tion and re­vival of the art form of chow­tal singing in­to SDMS schools as part of the Baal Vikaas Com­pe­ti­tion.
