The heartbeat of T&T’s culture will once again resound through the Queen’s Park Savannah when Pan Trinbago launches the 2025–2026 National Panorama Festival tomorrow at 4 pm.
This year’s festival, themed Legacy, will open with a grand showcase on the Drag at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port-of-Spain, featuring seven premier steelbands alongside tamboo bamboo performances. The festival runs from November 9 to February 21, celebrating the enduring spirit and artistry of the national instrument.
Pan Trinbago president Beverly Ramsey-Moore acknowledged ongoing challenges such as sponsorship cuts and unpredictable weather, but said the organisation continued to “make the best of what is available and make appropriate adjustments.”
“Against all odds, Pan Trinbago is moving by leaps and bounds,” she said. “We invite everyone to respect, enjoy, and continue creating a great legacy — because it’s ours to love, ours to cherish.”
The first event under the Legacy banner will be the Single Pan Preliminaries, held from November 12–20, covering the East, South/Central, Tobago and North regions, culminating in the finals on November 29 at the Queen’s Park Savannah.
The launch line-up includes:
