Mar­tin Douglin, fond­ly called “MEAD”, jour­neyed home on Tues­day, 23rd April, 2024, at the Port of Spain Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal. He was 89. He was the broth­er of Mar­garet, Right Rev­erend Rawle (Ja­nis) and Ernest Douglin, all de­ceased. He leaves to mourn his wife, Junette Douglin, and daugh­ter, Mar­garet Douglin. He was a trea­sured broth­erin-law to Mon­i­ca, un­cle to John (Phyl­lis) and Richard (Tegest), and great-un­cle to Joni, Ju­dah, Ko­bi, Gabriel, Joel, and Ezana. Mar­tin held a spe­cial place in the hearts of his god­daugh­ters Lisa, Krista, and Lo­rie-Anne. He was a ded­i­cat­ed ed­u­ca­tor at Queen’s Roy­al Col­lege, where he re­tired in 1994. View­ing and open trib­utes will be held at the Holy Trin­i­ty Cathe­dral Chapel on Thurs­day 2nd May at 5:30pm and the Fu­ner­al of the late Mar­tin Douglin will be held on Fri­day 3rd May at 9:00am at All Saints An­gli­can Church. The repass will be held at the All Saints Memo­r­i­al Hall op­po­site the All Saints An­gli­can Church im­me­di­ate­ly af­ter the ser­vice un­til 1:00pm.
