MICHAEL VIC­TOR GOMES Date of Birth: May 21st 1949 Date of Death: Ju­ly 2nd, 2023. We are sad­dened to an­nounce the pass­ing of Michael Vic­tor Gomes on the 2nd of Ju­ly, 2023. Michael is sur­vived by his lov­ing wife Ann Faith Gomes, daugh­ter Na­tal­ie Gomes, step­daugh­ters Wendy Gomez, Suzanne Gomez and grand­daugh­ter Gabriel­la Sookrae. He was the el­dest son of Josephi­na and Joseph (Son­ny) Gomes (dec’d), and broth­er to Maria Cuth­bert, An­gela Mur­al- Singh, Lin­da Tang Yew, Tony Gomes, Jose Gomes, Robert Gomes, Camile Chin Fatt and Richard Gomes. He was well loved and will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, broth­ers and sis­ters in-law, cousins and friends. Michael at­tend­ed Fa­ti­ma Col­lege, worked for Bar­clays (now Re­pub­lic) Bank, Guardian Life of the Caribbean Ltd., Life of Bar­ba­dos Ltd., and Fur­ness Ltd. Michael was al­so a proud mem­ber of the Li­on’s Club Port of Spain North.
