So­ca sen­sa­tion Machel Mon­tano of­fi­cial­ly launched his much-an­tic­i­pat­ed al­bum, En­core, on Feb­ru­ary 6, de­light­ing fans with not on­ly the mu­sic but al­so be­hind-the-scenes in­sights in­to the cre­ative process.

Along­side the al­bum re­lease, Mon­tano un­veiled the full playlist, giv­ing lis­ten­ers a first look at the col­lab­o­ra­tions and tracks that will de­fine Trinidad and To­ba­go’s Car­ni­val 2026.

The launch of­fered fans a unique op­por­tu­ni­ty to hear di­rect­ly from Mon­tano and the fea­tured artistes about the in­spi­ra­tions be­hind the songs and the col­lab­o­ra­tive ex­pe­ri­ences that shaped the al­bum.

“En­core rep­re­sents a cel­e­bra­tion of mu­sic, cre­ativ­i­ty, and the en­er­gy of Car­ni­val,” Mon­tano said dur­ing the launch.

“Each track tells a sto­ry, and work­ing with these artists has been an in­cred­i­ble jour­ney.”

One of the al­bum’s stand­out tracks, Pull De Pin, fea­tures Skin­ny Fab­u­lous and Wuss­wayz, blend­ing high-en­er­gy rhythms with in­fec­tious hooks guar­an­teed to set stages on fire. Mean­while, the ti­tle track, En­core, is al­ready be­ing po­si­tioned as Mon­tano’s con­tender for the cov­et­ed Road March tro­phy at T&T Car­ni­val 2026.

Oth­er no­table col­lab­o­ra­tions in­clude Danc­ing in the Streets with Mela Caribe and DJ Pri­vate Ryan, and El­e­vate fea­tur­ing Nailah Black­man, DJ Pri­vate Ryan, and Bad­John Re­pub­lic. The al­bum al­so fea­tures a mix of vet­er­an and emerg­ing tal­ents, such as Su­per Blue on Car­ni­val Birth­day and ris­ing artistes like Travis World, Thun­da, and Lil Nat­ty.
