Photographers enjoyed a successful Photowalk held by the Photographers Guild TT. The walk was led by renowned award-winning photographer Antony Scully, who specialises in various lighting techniques for photography.
The group of photographers participated in the free event which was held at the Port-of- Spain waterfront last Monday. They had the opportunity to learn proper techniques in shooting night portraits.
Strobe lights, continuous lighting and LED lights were used and demonstrated for light painting photography while using long exposure.
The Photowalk was sponsored by Lighting and Grip Affordable Imports TT. Models Brandon Rahaman and Krista Nandlal shared their skills posing for the photographers, the makeup was done by Kriskidee and clothing sponsored by Neha Karina.
The Photographers Guild is a registered NGO managed by a board of directors.
It’s main purpose is to promote photography—the art, science and business behind it. The Guild has been involved in many activities over the last two and a half years including photo competitions, copyright seminars and workshops in an effort to continue to engage local photographers by providing hands on learning opportunities, mentoring and networking.
