The Queen’s Roy­al Col­lege (QRC) Grounds in St Clair came alive this past week­end as Fete Roy­al: Ra­ma­jay de­liv­ered a high-en­er­gy, all-in­clu­sive Car­ni­val fête that lived up to its hype. Brand­ed as a night of “pure vibes and pure QRC spir­it,” the event drew a spir­it­ed crowd of Car­ni­val rev­ellers who danced, laughed and so­cialised un­der the stars well in­to the ear­ly hours. With the school’s his­toric grounds pro­vid­ing a vi­brant back­drop, pa­trons soaked up the pul­sat­ing so­ca rhythms that de­fined the night, while food and drink flowed freely, adding to the cel­e­bra­to­ry at­mos­phere that seemed to cap­ture both tra­di­tion and youth cul­ture.
