The run­way came alive with sparkle, sass and star pow­er as lo­cal celebri­ties lit up the stage at the Rapid­fire Kidz Foun­da­tion’s glam­orous Fash­ion­ista fundrais­er, held in part­ner­ship with Meena House Fine Din­ing Restau­rant at a packed Achiev­ers Ban­quet Hall in San Fer­nan­do on 16 May.

Fash­ion lovers were treat­ed to a daz­zling show­case from three of Trinidad and To­ba­go’s stand­out de­sign­ers—Ne­ha Ka­ri­na, Zadd and East­man, and Heather Jones In­ter­na­tion­al—each un­veil­ing stun­ning col­lec­tions burst­ing with el­e­gance, cre­ativ­i­ty and bold is­land flair. From flow­ing cou­ture pieces to fierce state­ment looks, the cat­walk trans­formed in­to a cel­e­bra­tion of fash­ion, con­fi­dence and Caribbean glam­our.

Adding ex­tra ex­cite­ment to the evening, sev­er­al of Trinidad and To­ba­go’s well-known per­son­al­i­ties trad­ed their usu­al spot­light for the run­way, con­fi­dent­ly show­ing off their mod­el­ling skills with poise and per­son­al­i­ty.

Among the stars turn­ing heads on the cat­walk were for­mer Miss Uni­verse 1977 Janelle “Pen­ny” Com­mis­siong, so­cial me­dia in­flu­encer Anas­ta­sia Mootoo, ac­tress Pene­lope Spencer, Dr Sherene Kalloo, Miss Uni­verse T&T 2023 Faith Gillezeau, Miss Uni­verse T&T 2025 La­tia Mor­ris, in­ter­na­tion­al mod­el Soowan Bram­ble, for­mer gov­ern­ment min­is­ters Sta­cy Roop­nar­ine and Don­na Cox, and singer Michelle Xavier.
