The runway came alive with sparkle, sass and star power as local celebrities lit up the stage at the Rapidfire Kidz Foundation’s glamorous Fashionista fundraiser, held in partnership with Meena House Fine Dining Restaurant at a packed Achievers Banquet Hall in San Fernando on 16 May.
Fashion lovers were treated to a dazzling showcase from three of Trinidad and Tobago’s standout designers—Neha Karina, Zadd and Eastman, and Heather Jones International—each unveiling stunning collections bursting with elegance, creativity and bold island flair. From flowing couture pieces to fierce statement looks, the catwalk transformed into a celebration of fashion, confidence and Caribbean glamour.
Adding extra excitement to the evening, several of Trinidad and Tobago’s well-known personalities traded their usual spotlight for the runway, confidently showing off their modelling skills with poise and personality.
Among the stars turning heads on the catwalk were former Miss Universe 1977 Janelle “Penny” Commissiong, social media influencer Anastasia Mootoo, actress Penelope Spencer, Dr Sherene Kalloo, Miss Universe T&T 2023 Faith Gillezeau, Miss Universe T&T 2025 Latia Morris, international model Soowan Bramble, former government ministers Stacy Roopnarine and Donna Cox, and singer Michelle Xavier.
