WIL­SON; EILEEN BAR­BARA of Di­a­mond Vale, Diego Mar­tin passed away on Feb­ru­ary 5, 2024. She was the daugh­ter of the late Alphon­so Wil­son and Beryl Hinds; sis­ter of Grace Ram­doo and Au­drey Wil­son, and the fol­low­ing who are de­ceased: Mer­le Wil­son, William Wil­son, Yvonne Collins, Hamil­ton Wil­son, Ber­nice Wil­son, Ver­na Loreg­nard and Ray­mond Wil­son. She was the de­vot­ed moth­er of Anselm Prescod (de­ceased), Astrid Prescod, Alan Prescod (Althea), An­dru Prescod (Jea­nine Prime) and Ains­ley Prescod. She was grand­moth­er to Alan Jr., An­nyel­la, Vaughn, Arvin, Gen­e­sis, Anaya and Evan. Great grand­moth­er of Jade Marie, Za­yne, Azu­ra, and Zei­dan, aunt of the Ram­doos, Loreg­nards, Collins and Wilsons and rel­a­tive of the Hinksons, Hen­rys and Humphreys. Eileen Wil­son was born in St James on No­vem­ber 7th, 1930. She was a re­tired teacher and vice-prin­ci­pal of St. Agnes An­gli­can School in St. James, af­ter 36 years of ser­vice. Be­sides teach­ing she loved mak­ing elab­o­rate cakes, gar­den­ing, paint­ing, sewing and bak­ing. She loved in­ter­na­tion­al trav­el and had an un­usu­al ca­pac­i­ty to re­mem­ber de­tails of peo­ple and events from many decades ago. She was the gri­ot of our large, ex­tend­ed fam­i­ly. She was al­so dear­ly loved by many past stu­dents and friends. She be­came a Sev­enth Day Ad­ven­tist on 29th Sep­tem­ber 1995 in Bal­ti­more, MD (USA). She was a long-stand­ing mem­ber of the Diego Mar­tin SDA Adult Church Choir, was the Church Au­di­tor, as­sist­ed in the Health De­part­ment and par­tic­i­pat­ed in many Ad­ven­tist Youth (AY) ac­tiv­i­ties. Her fa­vorite say­ing was “God knows the be­gin­ning and the end and every­thing be­tween.”
