On one Thursday of every month, the stage at the old Mas Camp Pub, Woodbrook, is set alight with New Fire, a showcase for live local music.
On September 25 the show will be We Are New Fire, staged in collaboration with the T&T Film Festival.
"Music and film are inextricably linked; some of the greatest musicians we have produced have made music for films," its organisers said in a press release.
"When music and film come together the experience is enhanced. In this edition of the New Fire Series we will bring together the filmmakers and the music makers of the region. A lineup of groundbreaking artists will take to the stage and bring an energetic performance of hits."
Performers include Gillian Moore and her new band Bush Tea Party, Gyazette frontman Nickolai Salcedo, Solman, Marge Blackman, Orange Sky, jointpop, St Ans and Freetown Collective. Showtime is 9 pm and tickets are available at the door or in advance at the venue, De Nu Pub, corner French Street and Ariapita Avenue, Woodbrook
