Dana Fayola Tuitt, 26, is one of the country's newest entrepreneurs. On April, 8, she opened the doors to her dream endeavour, Sinnamon Skin Klinik and Rejuvenation Centre, located on Norfolk Street, Queen's Park East, Belmont. The ambitious venture would see this young woman merge her experiences in beauty and management with the aim of delivering a revolutionary spa experience. Having developed a better understanding of her obsession with the beauty industry, Tuitt said, she had modelled the operating system at Sinnamon Skin Klinik and Rejuvenation Centre to embody all factors in creating an environment that was nurturing for therapist and, in turn, accommodating for the clients.
Drawing on experiences over the past eight years, Tuitt believed she had assembled the ideal team of spa professionals to deliver services in oxygen therapy facials, micro-dermabrasion, and micro pigmentation (permanent make-up), manicure, pedicures and massages and other related services.
"On any given day, day spas are a dime a dozen, but as with everything, there is always room for improvement and this is where we, the revolution, step in. "I have always been encouraged and inspired to step out of the box and its reflected on the spa menu. Sinnamon caters to men and women alike, paying particular attention to the undeniable and unavoidable ageing process."
Tuitt reflected on her vision to set up this posh spa, describing the journey as enlightening. She welcomed the challenges that arose and difficulty encountered to give life to Sinnamon Skin Klinik and Rejuvenation Centre, which, for her, was a pleasurable end product. "The challenges were met with a need to set the tone for an innovative take on an ever changing industry that has finally found its home in T&T, via Sinnamon," Tuitt said.
