When government ministers and influential business leaders turned up at the Queen's Park Oval last Saturday to witness T20 International between the young West Indian and Indian teams, they did so from the Blink/bmobile hospitality suite. That's where Gervon Abraham, manager, government and external affairs, at Telecommunications Services of T&T (TSTT)-which rolls out Blink/bmobile-went to extreme lengths to welcome VVIPs who showed up to witness the Caribbean's most treasured sport.
Public Utilities Minister Emmanuel George, who has responsibility for TSTT, as well as company chairman Everald Snaggs were in attendance. Other ministers accepting the invitation were Dr Roodal Moonilal, Minister of Housing and the Environment; Rudranath Indarsingh, Minister in the Ministry of Labour, Small and Micro Enterprise Development, Stacy Roopnarine, Minister in the Ministry of Works and Transport; Tobago Development Minister, Vernella Alleyne-Toppin, and Local Government Minister Chandresh Sharma.
