Neal & Massy leads day’s trading
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 11 securities of which none advanced, two declined and nine traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 224,849 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $6,891,194.63. Neal & Massy Holdings Ltd was the volume leader with 140,010 shares changing hands for a value of $5,040,360.00, followed by Sagicor Financial Corporation with a volume of 64,152 shares being traded for $513,322.50.
Republic Bank Ltd contributed 16,333 shares with a value of $1,233,298.41, while Scotia Bank Trinidad and Tobago Ltd added 2,438 shares valued at $88,519.17. Sagicor Financial Corporation suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.50 to close at $8.00. Savinvest Asia India Fund was the only active security on the mutual fund market, posting a volume of 615 shares valued at $38,468.25. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $62.51. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.11. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.49. The Second Tier Market did not witness any activity.
