GHL leads trading

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 12 securities of which one advanced, none declined and 11 traded firm.
Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 65,934 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $724,656.16.
Guardian Holdings Ltd was the volume leader with 33,632 shares changing hands for a value of $504,709.00, followed by National Commercial Bank Jamaica with a volume of 12,765 shares being traded fo $21,800.90. Nattional Entterprises Ltd Ltd contributed 10,000 shares with a value of $115,000.00, while Trinidad Cement Ltd added 5,261 shares valued at $13,625.99.
National Commercial Bank  Jamaica enjoyed the day’s sole price increase, climbing $0.01 to end the day at $1.71.
The mutual fund market did not record any activity.
The second tier market did not witness any activity.
