Angostura falls $0.69

Overall Market activity resulted from trading in eight securities of which none advanced, one declined and seven traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 383,821 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $3,539,779.16. 

Sagicor Financial Corporation was the volume leader with 188,954 shares changing hands for a value of $1,775,655, followed by Angostura Holdings Ltd with a volume of 114,650 shares being traded for $697,140.86.

Angostura Holdings Ltd suffered the day’s sole decline on its first day of trading in over 18 months, falling $0.69 to end the day at $6.21. Savinvest India Asia Fund was the only active security on the mutual fund market, posting a volume of 75 shares valued at $4,691.75. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $62.51.
The second tier market did not witness any activity.
