Overall Market activity resulted from trading in eight securities of which one advanced, one declined and six traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 297,448 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $9,125,507.79. ANSA McAL Ltd was the volume leader with 128,555 shares changing hands for a value of $5,913,530, followed by Unilver Caribbean Ltd with a volume of 118,489 shares being traded for $2,902,980.50. 

Jamaica Money Market Brokers contributed 21,786 shares with a value of $7,842.96, while Angostura Holdings Ltd added 15,000 shares valued at $75,000. Unilver Caribbean Ltd enjoyed the day’s sole price increase, climbing $0.41 to end the day at $24.50. Conversely, Guardian Holdings Ltd suffered the day’s sole decline, falling $0.54 to end the day at $13.01. The mutual fund and second tier markets did not record any activity.
