National Enterprises Ltd closes at $13, up 25¢

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 11 securities of which two advanced, one declined and eight traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 181,062 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $759,140.47.  Jamaica Money Market Brokers was the volume leader with 93,122 shares changing hands for a value of $33,523.92, followed by National Commercial Bank Jamaica with a volume of 30,521 shares being traded for $49,228.81.

Capital and Credit Financial Group  contributed 30,000 shares with a value of $6,000, while National Enterprises Ltd added 9,407 shares valued at $122,291. National Enterprises Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.25 to end the day at $13. Republic Bank added $0.14 to close at $81.70.
Conversely, Neal & Massy Holdings suffered the day’s sole decline, falling $0.01 to end the day at $42.02.

The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.11. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.20. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $62.51.
The second tier market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company remained at $1. Mora Ven Holdings remained at $15.52.

* The Composite Index advanced by 1.85 points (0.21%) to close at 898.43.

* The All T&T Index advanced by 3.83 points (0.30%) to close at 1,285.83.

* The Cross Listed Index remained at 63.78.
