ANSA McAL jumps $0.75

Overall market activity resulted from trading in eight securities of which five advanced, one declined and two traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 11,657,156 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $26,342,211.91. National Commercial Bank Jamaica was the volume leader with 10,920,559 shares changing hands for a value of $22,933,173.90, followed by Jamaica Money Market Brokers with a volume of 628,556 shares being traded for $477,702.56.
ANSA McAL contributed 47,912 shares with a value of $2,541,970.12, while National Flour Mills added 34,183 shares valued at $27,688.23. ANSA McAL enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.75 to end the day at $53.05. Conversely, Angostura Holdings Ltd suffered the day's sole decline, falling $0.05 to end the day at $8.74. The mutual fund market did not record any activity.
