A win for St Augustine tomorrow against St George's College will keep the school on top of the East Zone BGTT First Citizens Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) Girls Championship. The title, however, is not assured as El Dorado East have two matches remaining, while, St Augustine conclude their East Zone fixtures today. El Dorado has two tough matches remaining. The team will take on Toco, today. They will then play their final rescheduled match against St George's at a later date.
Defending South Zone and national champions Debe and second place Vessigny are separated by three points. Both teams have two remaining fixtures, and will face each other in a potential title decider in the final rescheduled match of the zone, next Tuesday. Vessigny are on a bye today, while Debe will face Point Fortin East at Lower Barrackpore. Holy Faith will take on Point Fortin West in the other match.
The race for the title in Tobago is also still on with each of the six clubs, having four more rounds of action to play. Leaders Roxborough will be in action against Signal Hill at the school's ground, while Mason Hall challenges Scarborough at the Dwight Yorke Training Field. Second placed Bishops High and Speyside is the other Tobago match carded for today. All matches begin at 3.45 pm.
