Over­all Mar­ket ac­tiv­i­ty re­sult­ed from trad­ing in six se­cu­ri­ties of which two ad­vanced, one de­clined and three trad­ed firm.Trad­ing ac­tiv­i­ty on the first tier mar­ket reg­is­tered a vol­ume of 135,359 shares cross­ing the floor of the Ex­change val­ued at $701,815.76.The Com­pos­ite In­dex ad­vanced by 0.21 points, or 0.02 per cent, to close at 1,006.04 while the All T&T In­dex de­clined by 0.10 points, or 0.01 per cent, to close at 1,452.50 and the Cross List­ed In­dex ad­vanced by 0.06 points, or 0.09 per cent, to close at 70.03.

Na­tion­al Com­mer­cial Bank Ja­maica was the vol­ume leader with 40,054 shares chang­ing hands for a val­ue of $86,316.64, fol­lowed by Pres­tige Hold­ings Ltd with a vol­ume of 37,949 shares be­ing trad­ed for $258,053.20.Cap­i­tal and Cred­it Fi­nan­cial Group con­tributed 35,789 shares with a val­ue of $10,736.70, while Na­tion­al En­ter­pris­es Ltd added 20,739 shares val­ued at $300,518.11.Na­tion­al Com­mer­cial Bank Ja­maica en­joyed the day's largest gain, in­creas­ing $0.01 to end the day at $2.16.

Con­verse­ly, Na­tion­al En­ter­pris­es Ltd suf­fered the day's sole de­cline, falling $0.01 to end the day at $14.49.The mu­tu­al fund mar­ket did not record any ac­tiv­i­ty. Fortress Caribbean Prop­er­ty Fund re­mained at $5.11. Prae­to­ri­an Prop­er­ty Mu­tu­al Fund re­mained at $3.25. Sav­in­vest In­dia Asia Fund re­mained at $62.25.The sec­ond tier mar­ket did not wit­ness any ac­tiv­i­ty. Mo­ra Ven Hold­ings Ltd re­mained at $15.68.
