The Com­pos­ite In­dex ad­vanced by 0.11 points, or 0.01 per cent, to close at 1,002.36 while the All T&T In­dex ad­vanced by 0.23 points, or 0.02 per cent, to close at 1,445.96. The Cross List­ed In­dex re­mained at 69.91. Na­tion­al En­ter­pris­es Ltd was the vol­ume leader with 50,000 shares chang­ing hands for a val­ue of $699,500, fol­lowed by Na­tion­al Flour Mills with a vol­ume of 33,535 shares be­ing trad­ed for $23,474.50.

ANSA Mer­chant Bank con­tributed 13,000 shares with a val­ue of $447,374.85, while Re­pub­lic Bank Ltd added 9,037 shares val­ued at $870,821.36. Re­pub­lic Bank Ltd en­joyed the day's largest gain, in­creas­ing $0.04 to end the day at $96.36.
