The Cross List­ed In­dex ad­vanced by 0.01 points, 0.01 per cent, to close at 70.11. Over­all mar­ket ac­tiv­i­ty re­sult­ed from trad­ing in ten se­cu­ri­ties of which five ad­vanced, one de­clined and four trad­ed firm. Trad­ing ac­tiv­i­ty on the first tier mar­ket reg­is­tered a vol­ume of 525,379 shares cross­ing the floor of the Ex­change val­ued at $2,562,186.01.

Trinidad Ce­ment Ltd was the vol­ume leader with 349,966 shares chang­ing hands for a val­ue of $629,938.80, fol­lowed by Na­tion­al Com­mer­cial Bank Ja­maica with a vol­ume of 75,000 shares be­ing trad­ed for $165,000. GraceKennedy Ltd con­tributed 36,055 shares with a val­ue of $155,757.60, while Sco­tia­bank T&T added 21,510 shares val­ued at $1,096,997.40.

Sco­tia­bank T&T en­joyed the day's largest gain, in­creas­ing $0.37 to end the day at $51. Con­verse­ly, Re­pub­lic Bank Ltd suf­fered the day's sole de­cline, falling $0.02 to end the day at $96.43. The mu­tu­al fund mar­ket did not record any ac­tiv­i­ty. Fortress Caribbean Prop­er­ty Fund re­mained at $5.11. Prae­to­ri­an Prop­er­ty Mu­tu­al Fund re­mained at $3.26. Sav­in­vest In­dia Asia Fund re­mained at $62.25. The Sec­ond Tier Mar­ket did not wit­ness any ac­tiv­i­ty. Mo­ra Ven Hold­ings re­mained at $15.65.
