Trad­ing ac­tiv­i­ty on the first tier mar­ket reg­is­tered a vol­ume of 220,227 shares cross­ing the floor of the Ex­change val­ued at $7,267,685.05. The Com­pos­ite In­dex ad­vanced by 2.64 points, or by 0.26 per cent, to close at 1,009.91 while the All T&T In­dex ad­vanced by 5.51 points, or 0.38 per cent, to close at 1,459.36. The Cross List­ed In­dex re­mained at 70.16. Agos­ti­ni's Ltd was the vol­ume leader with 31,300 shares chang­ing hands for a val­ue of $428,810, fol­lowed by Na­tion­al Flour Mills with a vol­ume of 31,000 shares be­ing trad­ed for $21,700.

ANSA McAL con­tributed 25,000 shares with a val­ue of $1,400,000, while GraceKennedy Ltd added 23,460 shares val­ued at $101,008.20. Sco­tia­bank T&T en­joyed the day's largest gain, in­creas­ing $1.00 to end the day at $52. Al­so jump­ing yes­ter­day were ANSA McAL, which in­creased by $0.40 to close at $56 and The West In­di­an To­bac­co Com­pa­ny, which rose by $0.20 to end the day's trad­ing at $61.95. Con­verse­ly, Re­pub­lic Bank Ltd suf­fered the day's great­est loss, falling $0.13 to close at $96.30.

The mu­tu­al fund mar­ket did not record any ac­tiv­i­ty. Fortress Caribbean Prop­er­ty Fund re­mained at $5.11. Prae­to­ri­an Prop­er­ty Mu­tu­al Fund re­mained at $3.50. Sav­in­vest In­dia Asia Fund re­mained at $62.25. The sec­ond tier mar­ket did not wit­ness any ac­tiv­i­ty. Mo­ra Ven Hold­ings re­mained at $15.65.
