Republic adds $0.42

Overall Market activity resulted from trading in eight securities of which two advanced, none declined and six traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 82,879 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $2,273,355.81. Republic Bank Ltd was the volume leader with 20,160 shares changing hands for a value of $1,954,510.56, followed by Trinidad Cement Ltd with a volume of 20,000 shares being traded for $36,200. Angostura Holdings Ltd contributed 20,000 shares with a value of $159,100, while National Flour Mills Ltd  added 9,856 shares valued at $6,406.40.

 

Republic Bank Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.42 to end the day at $96.95. The mutual fund and second tier markets did not record any activity.
