ANSA McAL jumps up by $0.75

Overall Market activity resulted from trading in seven securities of which three advanced, two declined and two traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 64,616 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $1,109,274.84. The Composite Index advanced by 1.46 points (0.14%) to close at 1,015.97. The All T&T Index advanced by 3.03 points (0.21%) to close at 1,472.58. The Cross Listed Index remained at 70.10. 
 
One Caribbean Media Ltd was the volume leader with 50,000 shares changing hands for a value of $599,500.00, followed by Guardian Holdings Ltd with a volume of 6,000 shares being traded for $81,480.00. ANSA McAL Ltd contributed 3,600 shares with a value of $205,200.00, while Scotiabank Ltd added 2,566 shares valued at $133,386.34.
 
ANSA McAL Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.75 to end the day at $57.00. Conversely, Scotiabank  Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.02 to close at $51.98.Savinvest India Asia Fund was the only active security on the mutual fund market, posting a volume of 641 shares valued at $39,415.25. Savinvest India Asia Fund  remained at $61.49. The Second Tier Market did not witness any activity.
