Pres­tige Hold­ings Lim­it­ed wish­es to ad­vise that Mr Daniel Fitzwilliam ten­dered his res­ig­na­tion as a mem­ber of the Com­pa­ny's Board of Di­rec­tors, as Chair­man of the Cor­po­rate Gov­er­nance and Nom­i­na­tion Com­mit­tee and as a mem­ber of the Au­dit Com­mit­tee, ef­fec­tive Feb­ru­ary 29, 2012.

Mr Fitzwilliam has been a mem­ber of the Board of Di­rec­tors for the last twen­ty (20) years, in­clud­ing five years dur­ing the own­er­ship by Pep­si­Co In­ter­na­tion­al, and Chair­man of the Cor­po­rate Gov­er­nance and Nom­i­na­tion Com­mit­tee and a mem­ber of the Au­dit Com­mit­tee since the Com­pa­ny was pub­licly list­ed in 1999. As one of the top com­mer­cial at­tor­neys in Trinidad and To­ba­go, he brought with him a wealth of ex­pe­ri­ence, which has con­tributed sig­nif­i­cant­ly to the Board and the Com­pa­ny.

Mr Fitzwilliam was a se­nior part­ner in the law firm Messrs Fitzwilliam Stone Fur­ness-Smith and Mor­gan and now acts as a con­sul­tant to the firm. The Com­pa­ny and the Board would like to sin­cere­ly thank Mr Fitzwilliam for his ded­i­ca­tion and en­thu­si­as­tic ser­vice dur­ing his time with us and the Pres­tige fam­i­ly would like to we wish him well and con­tin­ued suc­cess in all his fu­ture en­deav­ors.

The Com­pa­ny is there­fore al­so pleased to an­nounce that Mr Kurt Miller has been ap­point­ed a Di­rec­tor to the Pres­tige Hold­ings Lim­it­ed Board of Di­rec­tors, to re­place Mr Fitzwilliam, ef­fec­tive March 1, 2012. Mr Miller is a Se­nior Part­ner and Head of the Com­mer­cial De­part­ment of Fitzwilliam, Stone, Fur­ness-Smith & Mor­gan. He joined the Firm in 1986 and has been a Part­ner since 1992.

His area of spe­cial­ty is fi­nance, bank­ing, and cor­po­rate/com­mer­cial trans­ac­tions. He has act­ed and con­tin­ues to act for a broad range of lo­cal and in­ter­na­tion­al clients in the ar­eas of com­mer­cial trans­ac­tions, struc­tured cred­it trans­ac­tions, lever­age lend­ing trans­ac­tions, sov­er­eign and com­mer­cial bond is­sues, merg­ers and ac­qui­si­tions, se­cu­ri­ti­za­tion trans­ac­tions and avi­a­tion trans­ac­tions.

Mr Miller is a grad­u­ate of the Uni­ver­si­ty of the West In­dies (LLB Hons, 1984) and the Nor­man Man­ley Law School, Ja­maica (Le­gal Ed­u­ca­tion Cer­tifi­cate, 1986). He was ad­mit­ted to prac­tice in 1986 in Trinidad and To­ba­go and in 1991 in Ja­maica. He is rec­og­nized in the Cor­po­rate/Com­mer­cial Trinidad and To­ba­go sec­tion of Cham­bers Glob­al: The World's Lead­ing Lawyers.
