The Composite Index advanced by 0.91 points, or by 0.09 per cent, to close at 1,007.79, while the All T&T Index advanced by 2.18 points, or by 0.15 per cent, to close at 1,493.36. The Cross Listed Index declined by 0.03 points, or 0.05 per cent, to close at 66.00.
National Commercial Bank Jamaica was the volume leader with 104,527 shares changing hands for a value of $203,827.65, followed by Sagicor Financial Corporation with a volume of 25,940 shares being traded for $194,550.00. Guardian Holdings Ltd contributed 14,124 shares with a value of $199,854.60, while FirstCaribbean International Bank added 7,361 shares valued at $62,568.50. ANSA McAL enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.46 to end the day at $57.56, while Scotiabank added $0.12 to close at $55.24. Conversely, National Flour Mills suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $0.02 to close at $0.70. The mutual fund and second tier markets did not record any activity.
