The Com­pos­ite In­dex ad­vanced by 0.91 points, or by 0.09 per cent, to close at 1,007.79, while the All T&T In­dex ad­vanced by 2.18 points, or by 0.15 per cent, to close at 1,493.36. The Cross List­ed In­dex de­clined by 0.03 points, or 0.05 per cent, to close at 66.00.

Na­tion­al Com­mer­cial Bank Ja­maica was the vol­ume leader with 104,527 shares chang­ing hands for a val­ue of $203,827.65, fol­lowed by Sagi­cor Fi­nan­cial Cor­po­ra­tion with a vol­ume of 25,940 shares be­ing trad­ed for $194,550.00. Guardian Hold­ings Ltd con­tributed 14,124 shares with a val­ue of $199,854.60, while First­Caribbean In­ter­na­tion­al Bank added 7,361 shares val­ued at $62,568.50. ANSA McAL en­joyed the day's largest gain, in­creas­ing $0.46 to end the day at $57.56, while Sco­tia­bank added $0.12 to close at $55.24. Con­verse­ly, Na­tion­al Flour Mills suf­fered the day's great­est loss, falling $0.02 to close at $0.70. The mu­tu­al fund and sec­ond tier mar­kets did not record any ac­tiv­i­ty.
