The Com­pos­ite In­dex de­clined by 0.54 points, or by 0.05 per cent, to close at 1,012.64, while the All T&T In­dex de­clined by 1.82 points, or 0.12 per cent, to close at 1,504.52. The Cross List­ed In­dex ad­vanced by 0.07 points, 0.11 per cent, to close at 65.89. Trinidad Ce­ment Ltd was the vol­ume leader with 34,300 shares chang­ing hands for a val­ue of $55,388.00, fol­lowed by Sco­tia In­vest­ments Ja­maica Ltd with a vol­ume of 23,102 shares be­ing trad­ed for $52,079.50.

Sco­tia­bank T&T con­tributed 9,477 shares with a val­ue of $537,349.76, while ANSA McAL Ltd added 8,700 shares val­ued at $504,931. Sco­tia­bank T&T en­joyed the day's largest gain, in­creas­ing $0.44 to end the day at $56.70. Con­verse­ly, Na­tion­al En­ter­pris­es Ltd suf­fered the day's great­est loss, falling $0.24 to close at $13.50. Nei­ther he mu­tu­al fund mar­ket nor the sec­ond tier mar­ket wit­nessed any ac­tiv­i­ty.
