The Com­pos­ite In­dex ad­vanced by 2.02 points, or by 0.20 per cent, to close at 1,014.66, while the All T&T In­dex ad­vanced by 4.04 points, or by 0.27 per cent, to close at 1,508.56. The Cross List­ed In­dex ad­vanced by 0.02 points, or 0.03 per cent, to close at 65.91.

Neal & Massy Hold­ings was the vol­ume leader with 12,668 shares chang­ing hands for a val­ue of $586,525.70, fol­lowed by Sco­tia­bank T&T with a vol­ume of 9,280 shares be­ing trad­ed for $528,960. ANSA McAL con­tributed 7,000 shares with a val­ue of $407,890, while First­Caribbean In­ter­na­tion­al Bank added 6,574 shares val­ued at $55,879.

The West In­di­an To­bac­co Com­pa­ny Ltd en­joyed the day's largest gain, in­creas­ing $0.36 to end the day at $69. Sco­tia­bank ad­vanced by $0.30 to close on $57, while ANSA McAL added $0.23 to end trad­ing at $58.27. Guardian Hold­ings closed $0.21 to end at $15.50.

Con­verse­ly, Cap­i­tal and Cred­it Fi­nan­cial Group suf­fered the day's sole de­cline, falling $0.01 to end the day at $0.30. The mu­tu­al fund mar­ket did not record any ac­tiv­i­ty. Fortress Caribbean Prop­er­ty Fund re­mained at $5.11. Prae­to­ri­an Prop­er­ty Mu­tu­al Fund re­mained at $3.34. Sav­in­vest In­dia Asia Fund re­mained at $61.49.

The sec­ond tier mar­ket did not wit­ness any ac­tiv­i­ty. FN­CU Ven­ture Cap­i­tal Com­pa­ny Ltd (sus­pend­ed) re­mained at $1.00. Mo­ra Ven Hold­ings Ltd re­mained at $15.65.
