The Composite Index advanced by 0.79 points, or by 0.08 per cent, to close at 1,016.63, while the All T&T Index advanced by 1.23 points, or 0.08 per cent, to close at 1,512.40. The Cross Listed Index advanced by 0.04 points, or 0.06 per cent to close at 65.94.
Capital and Credit Financial Group Ltd was the volume leader with 644,062 shares changing hands for a value of $207,130.86, followed by Trinidad Cement Ltd with a volume of 39,575 shares being traded for $63,320. Guardian Holdings Ltd contributed 13,521 shares with a value of $216,812.05, while Sagicor Financial Corporation added 7,929 shares valued at $60,062.53.
Guardian Holdings Ltd enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.25 to end the day at $16.04. Conversely, National Enterprises Ltd suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $0.01 to close at $13.49. The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.11. The second tier market did not witness any activity.
