The Composite Index advanced by 0.95 points, or 0.09 per cent, to close at 1,019.85, while The All T&T Index advanced by 1.95 points, or 0.13 per cent, to close at 1,523.95. The Cross Listed Index remained at 65.37. Trinidad Cement Ltd was the volume leader with 55,084 shares changing hands for a value of $88,134.40, followed by Sagicor Financial Corporation with a volume of 33,000 shares being traded for $247,500.00. Guardian Holdings Ltd contributed 26,359 shares with a value of $448,103.00, while ANSA Merchant Bank added 20,182 shares valued at $716,411.70.
ANSA Merchant Bank enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.35 to end the day at $35.50. Conversely, Prestige Holdings Ltd suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $0.01 to close at $8.03. The mutual fund and second tier markets did not record any activity.
