Speaking at the launch, Rego said: "The Galaxy S III enables the most seamless and human-centric mobile experience. We are very excited to bring this highly anticipated handset to the people of Trinidad and Tobago. I am confident that the capability to conform to consumer needs with innovative functions that have transformed the smartphone market will be well received by new and existing customers." The smart phone will be distributed by both majority state-owned TSTT and Irish-owned Digicel. The Galaxy S III enhances the interaction experience between the device and user as it detects your face, voice and motions by adapting to the individual user to provide a more convenient and natural experience.
With the innovative "Smart Stay" feature, the phone recognises how the owners used their phone by having the front camera identify your eyes; the phone maintains a bright display for continued viewing pleasure. The Galaxy S III also features "S Voice," the advanced natural language user interface, to listen and respond to your words. In addition to allowing information search and basic device-user communication, S Voice presents powerful functions in regards to device control and commands. When your phone alarm goes off but you need a little extra rest, just tell the Galaxy S III "snooze." S Voice can also be used to play favourite songs, turn the volume up or down, send text messages and emails, organise your schedules, or automatically launch the camera and capture a photo.
