ANSA McAL adds $0.15

Overall market activity resulted from trading in eight securities of which four advanced, three declined and one traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 92,960 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $2,546,980.46. The Composite Index advanced by 0.16 points, or by 0.02 per cent, to close at 1,030.20, while the All T&T Index advanced by 0.81 points, or by 0.05 per cent, to close at 1,541.15. The Cross Listed Index declined by 0.06 points, or 0.09 per cent to close at 65.84. FirstCaribbean International Bank was the volume leader with 39,723 shares changing hands for a value of $337,645.50, followed by ANSA McAL Ltd with a volume of 17,724 shares being traded for $1,045,746.00. Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago contributed 12,623 shares with a value of $767,555.94, while Trinidad Cement Ltd added 9,998 shares valued at $14,991.46.
ANSA McAL Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.15 to end the day at $59.00. Conversely, Prestige Holdings Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.05 to close at $8.00. The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.35. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $61.49. The second tier market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company Ltd (suspended) remained at $1.00. Mora Ven Holdings Ltd remained at $15.65.
