Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 105,837 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $634,133.71. The Composite Index declined by 4.90 points, or by 0.48 per cent, to close at 1,023.69, while the All T&T Index advanced by 1.27 points, or by 0.08 per cent, to close at 1,538.83.
The Cross Listed Index declined by 1.30 points, 1.97 per cent, to close at 64.57. William LJ B was the volume leader with 75,000 shares changing hands for a value of $59,994.00, followed by National Commercial Bank Jamaica with a volume of 7,060 shares being traded for $11,664.00. Trinidad Cement Ltd contributed 5,523 shares with a value of $8,283.50, while Scotiabank T&T added 5,475 shares valued at $333,991.70.
Republic Bank Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.19 to end the day at $97.25. Conversely, National Commercial Bank Jamaica suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.19 to close at $1.65. The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.39. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $61.49. The Second Tier Market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company (SUSPENDED) remained at $1.00. Mora Ven Holdings remained at $15.65.
