Overall market activity resulted from trading in 11 securities of which five advanced, two declined and four traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 52,487 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $1,485,119.05. The Composite Index advanced by 0.87 points, 0.09 per cent, to close at 1,023.30,  while the All T&T Index advanced by 1.77 points, 0.11 per cent, to close at 1,541.39. The Cross Listed Index remained at 64.19. National Enterprises Ltd was the volume leader with 24,290 shares changing hands for a value of $312,126.50, followed by Republic Bank Ltd with a volume of 8,669 shares being traded for $849,562.27.

Trinidad Cement Ltd contributed 7,000 shares with a value of $10,500, while National Flour Mills added 5,000 shares valued at $3,750. Republic Bank Ltd  enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.44 to end the day at $98. Conversely, Guardian Holdings Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.12 to close at $16.85. The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.39. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $61.49. The second tier market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company (SUSPENDED) remained at $1.00. Mora Ven Holdings remained at $15.65.
