The Com­pos­ite In­dex ad­vanced by 2.08 points, or by 0.20 per cent, to close at 1,025.38, while the All T&T In­dex ad­vanced by 4.66 points, or 0.30 per cent, to close at 1,546.05. The Cross List­ed In­dex, mean­while, de­clined by 0.05 points, 0.08 or per cent, to close at 64.14. Na­tion­al Com­mer­cial Bank Ja­maica was the vol­ume leader with 123,992 shares chang­ing hands for a val­ue of $198,387.20

Na­tion­al En­ter­pris­es Ltd fol­lowed with a vol­ume of 35,941 shares be­ing trad­ed for $467,193.00. Trinidad Ce­ment Ltd con­tributed 19,700 shares with a val­ue of $29,550.00, while Sco­tia­bank T&T added 7,393 shares val­ued at $451,046.93. ANSA McAL en­joyed the day's largest gain, in­creas­ing $0.79 to end the day at $60.00.

Unilever added $0.25 to close on $38.50, while Na­tion­al En­ter­pris­es Ltd end­ed trad­ing up by $0.15 on $13. Con­verse­ly, ANSA Mer­chant Bank Ltd suf­fered the day's great­est loss, falling $0.25 to close at $35.55. The mu­tu­al fund and sec­ond tier mar­kets did not record any ac­tiv­i­ty.
