Glitz Events and the Uni­ver­si­ty of Trinidad & To­ba­go (UTT) will host the Bankai Caribbean Gam­ing Tour­na­ment and Tech­nol­o­gy Ex­po from Ju­ly 20 to Ju­ly 22 at the Na­tion­al Acad­e­my for Per­fom­ing Arts (Na­pa). The ex­po is open from 10 am to 6 pm and will show­case tech­nol­o­gy, gad­gets and soft­ware.

The ex­po is di­vid­ed in­to zones for dif­fer­ent ac­tiv­i­ties: the Kids Zone, the Adult Lounge for ma­ture game en­thu­si­asts and the Bat­tle­ground, which is the main tour­na­ment room. The Gam­ing As­so­ci­a­tion of T&T will host sin­gle and mul­ti-play­er con­tests in Fi­fa, Mor­tal Kom­bat, MVC3, SFXT, Dota2 and Leagues of Leg­ends. There will al­so be dai­ly screen­ings of movies.

Bankai's ac­tiv­i­ties will in­clude a mag­ic show, char­ac­ter ap­pear­ances and a celebri­ty FI­FA tour­na­ment. Pa­trons can pur­chase play-all-day pass­es or they can pay to play in­di­vid­ual games. UTT will al­so have a booth that pro­vides in­for­ma­tion about their MSE and ICT pro­grammes, which are now avail­able at the John Don­ald­son cam­pus.
