Republic ends day at $98.50

Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 7 securities of which 1 advanced, 1 declined and 5 traded firm. The Composite Index advanced by 0.23 points, or by 0.02 per cent, to close at 1,034.31,while the All T&T Index advanced by 0.47 points, or by 0.03 per cent, to close at 1,565.67. The Cross Listed Index remained at 63.98. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 37,870 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $454,868.19. Sagicor Financial Corporation was the volume leader with 20,280 shares changing hands for a value of $151,086.00, followed by National Flour MIlls Ltd with a volume of 8,334 shares being traded for $5,844.04.

 

Scotia Investments Jamaica Ltd contributed 3,600 shares with a value of $7,200.00,while Scotiabank T&T Ltd added 3,598 shares valued at $223,076.00. Republic Bank Ltd enjoyed the day’s sole price increase, climbing $0.13 to end the day at $98.50. Conversely, Flavorite Foods Ltd suffered the day’s sole decline, falling $0.01 to end the day at $8.30. The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.45. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $61.49. The second tier market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company (Suspended) remained at $1.00. Mora Ven Holdings remained at $15.65.
