One Caribbean Media gains $0.36

Overall market activity resulted from trading in eight securities of which five advanced, two declined and one traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 39,474 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $724,868.53. The Composite Index advanced by 0.68 points, or by 0.07 per cent, to close at 1,037.03, while the All T&T Index advanced by 1.39 points, or by 0.09 per cent, to close at 1,572.59. The Cross Listed Index remained at 63.83. National Enterprises Ltd was the volume leader with 24,404 shares changing hands for a value of $341,548.45, followed by One Caribbean Ltd with a volume of 10,000 shares being traded for $156,100.

 

 

Republic Bank Ltd contributed 1,454 shares with a value of $143,509.80, while Sagicor Financial Corporation added 1,250 shares valued at $9,250.00. One Caribbean Media enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.36 to end the day at $15.61. ANSA Merchant Bank added $0.35 to close at $36. Conversely, Scotiabank T&T suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $0.02 to close at $62.01. The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.70. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $61.49. The second tier market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company (SUSPENDED) remained at $1.00. Mora Ven Holdings Ltd remained at $15.65
