Neal & Massy inches up $0.05

Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 11 securities of which five advanced, three declined and three traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 313,023 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $16,906,667.61. The Composite Index advanced by 0.05 points to close at 1,044.19, while the All T&T Index advanced by 0.17 points (0.01 per cent) to close at 1,586.27.
The Cross Listed Index declined by 0.01 points (0.02 per cent) to close at 63.94. The West Indian Tobacco Company was the volume leader with 76,147 shares changing hands for a value of $5,466,582.71, followed by Republic Bank Ltd with a volume of 61,970 shares being traded for $6,197,500.
Neal & Massy Holdings contributed 56,600 shares with a value of $2,549,830, while One Caribbean Media added 55,348 shares valued at $884,768. Neal & Massy Holdings enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.05 to end the day at $45.05. Conversely, One Caribbean Media suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.01 to close at $15.99.
The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.80. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $61.49. The second tier market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company remained at $1. Mora Ven Holdingsremained at $15.65.
