Trad­ing ac­tiv­i­ty on the first tier mar­ket reg­is­tered a vol­ume of 355,012 shares cross­ing the floor of the Ex­change val­ued at $3,048,546.76. The Com­pos­ite In­dex de­clined by 0.43 points, or by 0.04 per cent, to close at 1,043.76, while the All T&T In­dex ad­vanced by 0.76 points, or by 0.05 per cent, to close at 1,587.03. The Cross List­ed In­dex de­clined by 0.19 points, or 0.30 per cent, to close at 63.75.

Sco­tia In­vest­ments Ja­maica Ltd was the vol­ume leader with 192,544 shares chang­ing hands for a val­ue of $423,369.57, fol­lowed by One Caribbean Me­dia with a vol­ume of 69,575 shares be­ing trad­ed for $1,113,264.66. Sagi­cor Fi­nan­cial Cor­po­ra­tion con­tributed 29,042 shares with a val­ue of $212,850.06, while Trinidad Ce­ment Ltd added 21,327 shares val­ued at $40,521.30.

Trinidad Ce­ment Ltd en­joyed the day's largest gain, in­creas­ing $0.16 to end the day at $1.90. Con­verse­ly, Sco­tia In­vest­ments Ja­maica Ltd suf­fered the day's great­est loss, falling $0.20 to close at $2.20. The mu­tu­al fund mar­ket did not record any ac­tiv­i­ty. Fortress Caribbean Prop­er­ty Fund re­mained at $5. Prae­to­ri­an Prop­er­ty Mu­tu­al Fund re­mained at $3.80. Sav­in­vest In­dia Asia Fund re­mained at $61.49.
