Republic Bank Ltd adds $0.04

Overall market activity resulted from trading in seven securities of which three advanced, one declined and three traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 84,322 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $1,608,989.19.

 

The Composite Index advanced by 0.14 points, or by 0.01 per cent, to close at 1,066.08, while the All T&T Index advanced by 0.35 points, or by 0.02 per cent, to close at 1,627.12. The Cross Listed Index declined by 0.01 points, or 0.02 per cent, to close at 64.40.

 

Guardian Holdings Ltd was the volume leader with 34,267 shares changing hands for a value of $651,073, followed by Angostura Holdings Ltd with a volume of 26,072 shares being traded for $221,612. Sagicor Financial Corporation contributed 12,770 shares with a value of $95,775.65, while Neal & Massy Holdings added 4,865 shares valued at $228,655.

 

Republic Bank Ltd enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.04 to end the day at $101.10. Conversely, Sagicor Financial Corporation suffered the day's sole decline, falling $0.01 to end the day at $7.50. The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.80. Savinvest India Asia Fund  remained at $59.00. The second tier market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company  (SUSPENDED) remained at $1.00. Mora Ven Holdings remained at $15.65.
