Republic Bank Ltd adds $1.12

Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 12 securities of which four advanced, two declined and six traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 249,290 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $3,892,849.00.

 

Angostura Holdings Ltd was the volume leader with 123,345 shares changing hands for a value of $1,069,029.85, followed by Trinidad Cement Ltd with a volume of 54,757 shares being traded for $106,776.15. ANSA McAL contributed 24,274 shares with a value of $1,529,262.00, while National Enterprises Ltd added 19,258 shares valued at $288,870.00.

 

Republic Bank Ltd enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $1.12 to end the day at $102.88. Conversely, Trinidad Cement Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.01 to close at $1.95. The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.80. Savinvest India Asia Fund emained at $59.00.
